A collection of the books I’ll be reading or have read.

When I was in elementary school, it was rare to find me without a book in tow. I spent most of my allowance money on new books, reading everything from Baby Sitters Club to Goosebumps and anything in between. I grew up loving books. In fact, I wanted to write books as well, so I always had a notebook and a fresh pack of pens with me. Around middle/high school, the thrill died down. Perhaps it’s because I was suddenly bombarded with (boring) mandatory reading , but I lost my spark. I’d pick up a good book now and again (I particularly loved the Jessica Darling books), but it just wasn’t in me.

The passion is back now. In fact, it’s become an obsession. I’ve found myself constantly searching for and purchasing new books. The fear is that I will finish a book and not having something to immediately delve into afterwards. So, in order to stop that from happening, I keep a nice stack. I’m actually waiting for an Amazon package with 3 more books!

Of all the books in this stack that I have read, I haven’t had a bad one yet. Hopefully I can keep that flow going!
