Nail Art Lately…

Time for a round-up of my nail art ventures from April!

050

Thanks to The Dainty Squid’s awesome nail art, I bought nail stickers last year. I’ve used them, but it’s so rare.
After the intense work on my HIMYM nails, it was time to work on something simple but with some pow!
I used the fun lightening bolt-esque design.
The colors are Julep Shenae, Butter London Fruit Machine, and Sally Hansen’s Butterscotch.

062

These nails to forrrrrevvvvveeeeerrrrr. Dare I even say, five-ever?
They were inspired by Garance Dore’s collab with Rifle Paper Co.
I love them, and for my first time playing with a checkerboard design (nice going with one with so many danged squares), I’m pretty pleased with them. I even got a comment from Anna Bond on Instagram! #honored

006

Braided nails are not a new look for me, but this color combo was the perfect spring refresher!
If you want to try this look, it’s super easy. CutePolish has a tutorial!
The colors…Sally Hansen Peach of Cake, Maybelline Color Show in Poolside, and Julep Sienna.

006

These are my favorite nails of the month and possibly of the entire year. Talk about easy, happy nail art!
I used a base of OPI Man Repeller and layered various jelly (sheer) polishes on top. I overlapped some to create new colors (pink and yellow for orange, etc.) and it reminded me of dyed Easter eggs. The sheer polish and my Seche Vite
top coat made for one of the shiniest manis I’ve had in a while. Wish I had a better picture for you! I’ve really got to break out the Canon when I take my nail pictures. And the natural light, of course.

081

It was so sad to take off the colorful jelly mani from above, especially since I used only one color for a few days.
I was a little lost for ideas so I figured I’d go with a nice color combo and some polka dots. To spice things up, I flip flopped the colors I used on each hand, so that my right hand was mostly China Glaze Fade Into Hue and the left was mostly Sally Hansen Peach of Cake. I used the same colors for the dots. Fun twist on something simple.

015

One of the nail blogs I read daily did an easy daisy tutorial, and I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in it.
It’s a nice look, using a dotting tool to create the flowers, but I wanted something that looked more like an actual daisy.
I also wanted to go for a 90s-style daisy print, thus the black background. This was super easy to do, and my favorite thing about floral manicures are that they can’t be goofed up. Flowers come in all shapes and sizes and there are so many ways to do them, you just can’t go wrong!

Right now, my nails are (OMG) naked!
On Monday, I removed the daisy art because it was peeling terribly. It’s been awhile since I’ve given my nails some air (I basically remove polish and immediately paint them every couple of days…can’t be good for them!), and working a shipment shift meant I would probably chip the polish anyway (sure enough I chipped a nail, so that really would’ve sucked). I had every intention of doing them but kept pushing it off. They are looking pretty good, so I think my next manicure might last a little longer…fingers crossed. Don’t forget to take care of your nails, friends!

Nail Art Lately…

For some reason, March was kind of lacking in the nail art department for me. I wore a design or two until it was disgustingly raggedy (by my standards). I don’t know if it’s a lack of inspiration or a confusion with the changing of the seasons (pastels and brights feel weird when it’s still less than 30 degrees on some days). Still, I have some to share!

3413(1)

This is a really basic manicure. I used two colors, OPI’s Sparrow Me the Drama for the pink and Sally Hansen’s Pacific Blue for the blue. I taped off a triangular area to paint the pink and then, when that dried, I striped the blue so it would all flow together and add a little something interesting to an otherwise simple design.

3514(6)

I forgot about these nails! Danny Brito’s Instagram is an awesome source of inspiration for me (and cute dog and Pyrex collection pictures), and I picked a different color scheme to pay tribute to a cool geometric design he did.
I had a lot of trouble with my cuticles this past month, so I think that was another issues. I just painted random triangle blobs of OPI’s Call Me Gwen-ever and China Glaze For Audrey  over OPI’s Don’t Pretzel My Buttons. (Don’t you love nail polish names? I do!) Then I used my go-to black polish, Sally Hansen’s Black Out (the best, don’t buy anything else, it’s less than $3 what are you doing with your life?) and a striping blush to do random triangular outlines.
I would definitely try something like this again.

018

This is a fairly proud nail moment for me. As I mentioned, I am obsessed with Target’s One Spot stationery. The great thing about the beautiful color schemes and designs is that they serve as inspiration for other things…like nail art!
This abstract floral design was so much fun and 100% accomplished just by looking at the pencil and blobbing things together. It’s not perfect, but that’s what makes it look so cool. Base is Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, flowers are Sally Hansen Peach of Cake with a dot of Essie’s Good as Gold, basic Wet N Wild white polish for leaves and stems.

009

After a spell of boring one polish manis that were on my nails way too long (I don’t care if the colors were pretty, no), I was inspired by a light stripey design by Mr. Candiipants (a revelation I tell you!). She hadn’t made the tutorial so I just went for it with this. She liked it on Instagram, so that’s all I care about. You can see the sadness around my nails, the dryness and blah. I used Fresh Paint Coconut for the base and the stripes were Fresh Paint Pistachio, Butter London Artful Dodger and Essie’s Go Ginza!

32714(1)

I attempted the Rifle Paper Co. nail tutorial by The Beauty Department and, while I got compliments on this, I wasn’t satisfied. I am gonna say this right now: The tutorial sucks butt. It’s pictures, step-by-step, and that’s not a bad thing…but the painting was done on paper, not nails. It should be on nails. So I see what this stuff looks like on nails. There is one photo of the designs on the nails, but they look different from the step by step and have some added flourish that I couldn’t fit in from trying to do the danged tutorial. Some of the flowers could’ve been bigger (pointer) and some should’ve been smaller. They threw a disclaimer in there that they would look different on the hand…but that’s exactly why they should’ve used someone’s hand for the tutorial. Not paper. Sheesh. Too many colors to name. Sorry.
And next time I try to master an Anna Bond look, I will be using a notebook or design from the internet instead.

022

The last nails of the month were my beloved works of art (yeah they aren’t perfect, no I don’t care) in honor of the finale of How I Met Your Mother (still doesn’t feel real, maybe that’s a good thing). I won’t go into detail about the
19 different polishes I used, but I can tell you each thing.
Top L-R: Suit Up! is one of Barney’s catchphrases. A suit was necessary. The (danged) blue French horn from the pilot episode and throughout the relationship of Ted and Robin, the mother’s yellow umbrella, and a heart because…love.
Bottom L-R: A very faint (so faint you can’t see it!) acid wash look with a sparkly star for Robin Sparkles, the ducky tie, an M for Maclaren’s Pub, the pineapple of the pineapple incident, and a butterfly wing for Ted’s drunken tattoo.

And that’s all there is! Looking back, there wasn’t that much of a drought, but it felt like one to me.
Can’t wait to keep busting that rut!

Nail Art Lately…

Time to share my nail art from the past month!

2414(3)

My first nails of the month were probably my absolute favorites of the month as well. Mixed manis are a favorite of mine. It takes the pressure off of perfecting one design on each nail and it just looks fresh. I am obsessed with the steel gray polish I used, Sephora’s Formula X in Vivacious. I also used a solid gray for one of the nails, a random Revlon polish. The bright pink is one of my stand-by polishes, OPI’s Sparrow Me the Drama. Finally, I used Deborah Lippmann’s Bohemian Burgundy from the GIRLS collection. The dotted frame is a favorite that I need to use more often.

394

No nail art in the photo above, but this is the stunning Push and Shove chrome polish from Gwen Stefani’s OPI line. The mirror finish is insane. If you’re looking to wear it more than one night, you’re out of luck. It comes with a base coat that is supposed to accentuate the chrome and help it have a smooth finish.
Still a little brushstroke-y but it’s perfect for a fun night out!

498

These were my nails for Mexico…they didn’t turn out exactly as I had planned, but my mom bought me Kate Broughton nail decals and I thought the tropical drinks were perfect for our all-inclusive getaway! I still have stickers of various kinds that I can’t wait to use (and perfect next time), but it was a decent first try.

009

After having the same nails for over a week, I couldn’t wait to get some new nail art on! Chalkboard Nails posted a gorgeous, subtle Valentine nail that I couldn’t wait to replicate. I used a variety of purples. I need to perfect my smaller dots, but I really like the look of this nail and think you can do so many different color schemes for this.

22114(1)

I have a bunch of textured polishes, but I often stay away from them. Manicures without top coats just don’t last as long with me. Still, after getting the studs, I could just envision them with my Nails, Inc. Leather Effect polish. It was the exact look I wanted. I can’t wait to use the studs with a top coat because they started popping off the next day (I only used top coat to place them instead of nail glue). I just got a purple leather polish and I want to do this look again soon.

22614(5)

For Christmas, my friend Catie got me this beautiful, multi-colored shredded glitter polish from Forever 21. It’s been sitting in my collection for a while, waiting to be used, but I usually stay away from glitter when I know I won’t want to go through the process of removing it. Catie recommended I used with OPI’s Don’t Pretzel My Buttons, one of my favorite neutrals that really helps the glitter pop. Simple but stunning. And I love my new midi rings from
Mishella Boutique, which complimented the look nicely.

078

Finally, I used The Dainty Squid’s scotch tape method to do this geometric look inspired by the Kraft Edition core kit for Project Life. Next time I do this (and there will be a next time), I will use smaller shapes and not so much layering. That seemed to keep the polish from smoothing out with top coat. Still, I like the look in the end. And let’s not forget that Becky Higgins (creator of Project Life) featured them on her Instagram!

Nail Art Lately

Hello, February! How is it that we are already into the second month of 2014?
I say that pretty much every time a new month (heck, a new day!) arrives. But I can’t help it…time goes so fast!
The end of the holidays brought with it the end of “easy” nail art. When I say easy, I mean that inspiration isn’t hard to find. I knew around Halloween that my nails would focus on various spooky creatures and dark colors. I knew Christmas would mean lots of red and green and trees and Santa. Going back to normal means thinking outside of the box and trying to find inspiration from the internet. Normally, I’m on fire with that stuff. I slacked off, though, with the holidays.
Here are my nails from the past month.

020

This shouldn’t really qualify as nail art, but I think that this polish was perfect to ring in the new year with.
I love this super sparkly (holographic blue glitter? not something you see everyday…it’s awesome) Essie polish, called On a Silver Platter. Almost all of the swatches I saw were over a black base, and I feel like that failed to let the glitter shine. So I used a simple base of Wet N Wild’s French White (99 cents and my new go-to white) and it really popped!

040

I’ve done the Saran Wrap manicure before, but this post on Pinterest inspired me to try this marble inspired look. Very expensive Formica-looking, if you ask me. I love the color combo in the original post, but it felt too springy for me. I still used OPI’s Goldeneye as the base, and quickly removed Essie’s Vested Interest off the top for the green.
Also, I realize it looks a little moldy…hopefully in a good way?

005

To say that I’m obsessed with this look is an understatement.
I WANT TO MARRY IT AND HAVE ITS BABIES AND DIVORCE IT SIMPLY SO I CAN MARRY IT AGAIN.
Thank you Mr. Candiipants, for making amazing nail art tutorials that don’t often require a lot of tools or scary techniques. Anyone can do this and it will look good! Swear. It’s like having a beautiful piece of abstract art on your nails. I followed Candice’s color scheme pretty closely, but you could do it with any colors you love!
After very neutral and basic (to me) nails, I had a lot of fun staring at this.

013

I almost forgot about these nails, which would’ve been a shame. I actually got quite a bit of compliments on these, and I never expected that. I used Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in Butterscotch as the base color (I LOVE that yellow) and a basic black and white for the blocks down the middle. You can find the tutorial on One Nail to Rule Them All, and I think any color would work as a base, as long as the black and white get to pop!

008
I love Mr. Candiipants’ floral tutorials, and this one is especially beautiful. I wish I had longer nails, like her, for this particular design. They started to blend together after a while. And I definitely could’ve made the leaves smaller.
Still, it’s a great look that utilizes a lot of polishes in a very complimentary way.

And those were my nails in January!

A How-To: Melted Crayon “French” Manicure

After a month of Christmas nails, it was time to switch it up. My instinct to keep things interesting when I am out of ideas is to throw glitter on my nails. It’s a great solution, and I have some awesome glitters that keep things fresh. However, even that can get boring, especially when you’re used to whipping out all your nail art tools and multiple colors.
Then I saw The Dainty Squid’s most recent weekly nail and knew that a mix&match mani would be the perfect solution!
Kaylah’s inspiration came from here, which also came from here.
All three of these used scotch tape nail decals, something I have yet to try.
But their use of colors and different shapes inspired me to play around on my own.
Here was the result:

012

For these nails, I used 7 different polishes. Polka dots are super simple so I loved doing the border nails with varying color dots. I kept it simple on the ring finger with a line of alternating black and white dots.
Butttttt, my favorite nail is my pinky nail!
The pinky nail is super easy to do and it’s why I wanted to share a little tutorial with you guys!
The design itself reminds me of several crayons that melted near each other into a puddle and, since it’s near the tip of the nail, it’s a fun alternative to the classic (but sometimes stuffy) French manicure!
The good thing about these nails are that they are completely customizable. I like the multi-colored look (with a gray or beige to offset the brights), but I think this would be great with different shades of the same color or even a darker, monochromatic look with blacks and whites and silvers and grays.
I also chose to play with negative space, using just the base coat instead of putting down a solid color on the entire nail.
You can do that if you choose. If you feel more comfortable, you can use a sheer pink or off-white like a a basic manicure, or you can have some fun and use a crazy color of cream polish as the base!

I used a nail art wheel to show this since I didn’t want to take off my nail polish.

tut1

These are the colors I chose to use, sandwiched between a base coat and top coat. Both are essential items for any good at-home manicure. I’ll get into detail with that another time. I chose 4 bright and fun colors with a great creamy gray as a nice neutral anchor for the rest.

tut2

Grab whichever bottle you’d like to start with. Remove a good amount of polish off of the brush, but make sure you still have a nice dot left over. You don’t want to make a thick, hard to dry drop.

tut3

Making sure to keep your dots near the tip of the nail, lightly tap the brush onto the nail. It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle. Start small and you can add a bit more if you’d like to make a bigger dot or your nails are longer.

tut4

Yes, this dot is a bit thicker, but I recommend doing it on each nail in one color at a time (all ten gray, all ten blue, etc.). By the time you get back to that nail, it will have dried a teensy bit so that the colors won’t run together too much.

tut5 tut6

Continue making dots. The colors will spread a bit, especially as you get closer to the nail. Feel free to go back with past colors if they get covered with new ones, and to make sure the tips get covered with the colors closest to the edge.

tut7

The finished product!
It’s not going to look “perfect” because it isn’t. Each will have it’s own unique flow, mix and mesh of colors.
To smooth everything out, use a top coat!

I hope you enjoy the look!

Festive Fingers

Now that Christmas is over (though I won’t really admit it and our tree is still up and smells incredible), I want to share my holiday nail art, much like my Halloween post. I really liked all of these designs, and the funny thing is that I pretty much used the same few colors for each different look.

White – Wet N’ Wild French White
Tan – Butter London Tea & Toast
Brown – OPI A-Taupe the Space Needle
Black – Sally Hansen’s X-Treme Wear Black Out
Red – OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress or Love & Beauty Red
Red Glitter – Essie Leading Lady
Green – OPI Jade is the New Black
Gold – Essie As Gold as it Gets

083
I used Elleandish’s tutorial for these adorable Christmas trees. Her YouTube channel is definitely one of my top favorites. She does excellent designs and teaches them very well. These were so fun. I’m Not Really a Waitress is a classic OPI color, but it’s a frosty red so it isn’t really my type. This season is the best time to wear it.

007

These snowfall nails can also be seen in the tutorial link above. I decided to go with a nice cold blue (Essie Butler Please) as the background, and I covered it with OPI’s Pirouette My Whistle which is basically like a snowfall in a polish bottle.

036

These string light nails are from CutePolish’s massive Christmas tutorial and they are super easy and super cute!

035

I probably never would’ve done Gingerbread nails until the CutePolish tutorial but they were just too adorable and tasty to pass up! This was an easy design. I like that it’s not the whole man, just his cute little buttons and frosting.

070
Rudolph nails! I used CutePolish’s tutorial but tweaked it a little to make it appear more like the Rudy we know and love from the old claymation special. Basically, I did simpler eyes and gave him teensy antlers instead of big ones, since he’s so young and hasn’t grown them as big!

106
These Santa nails were my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DESIGN OF THE SEASON!
Another Elleandish design, it is so stinking adorable and jolly, much like the big man himself.
I was a little nervous about doing them, but it was much easier than I suspected and, again, Janelle did an excellent job of executing and explaining this design. I particularly love his little smile. :)

Nail art is one of my favorite things to do no matter the season or holiday, but it’s been especially fun to focus on the special days that get built up for a while, like Halloween and Christmas.
I’m so excited to continue honing my skills this year, and I look forward to getting better at painting my nails without needing major cleanup. I also am going to start doing a bit more involved care on my cuticles.
Hope you enjoyed the photos, and don’t forget to check out the wonderful YouTube channels of both Elleandish and CutePolish for designs for all occasions!

Festive Fingers

Now that Halloween has come to an end (sadly), I can finally share some Halloween nails I did over the last month.
I’ve been waiting to do a big photo post for these, it’s much more fun that way!

049

Perhaps these don’t seem to belong here, but I was largely inspired by the slime look from Elleandish’s Halloween nail tutorial. I think purple and lime green have an awesome, slimy, monster-ish effect. Mostly, though, I was super proud of the way they turned out. I had a few people ask if they were stickers, and even I couldn’t believe I did them. This was my first time doing uniform dots (starting from the middle, lining them up a certain way). Usually I’m willy-nilly. If you do it like this, everyone will think they are nail strips, trust me!

009

Ahhhh, the black cat nails! I actually don’t care much for cats…they are adorable, but I’m allergic…but I had to do a cat manicure! The base is one of my new favorite colors, Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in Earl Gray (Funny enough, that’s the name of my best friend’s cat!). Again, I used an Elleandish tutorial to get the shape of the cats down, but I kept it simple with some green eyes for that eerie effect.

025

I was so excited to do these nails, but I know I’m going to try harder next time. I was proud of the (the base color is gorgeous and the clean up was pretty good, too!) but I wanted the bones a lot thinner and smaller. I wanted a ton of bones, like One Nail to Rule Them All, but you live and learn. I don’t think bones need to stay strictly Halloween, so I will be trying them again!

002

Pumpkin nails! Very necessary. I love playing with negative space, so I decided to keep my nail naked aside from the pumpkins on the tips. I used a lighter color orange to add a little dimension to the pumpkins. And then, for an accent nail, I did a Jack O’ Lantern!

003

This is another Elleandish look. Instead of doing stitched tips, I decided to go all Frankenstein’s monster and do a bunch of stitches. The green is another favorite, also Sally Hansen, called Loden Green. I don’t have anything else like it…it’s beautiful! The accent is meant to look like the Bride of Frankenstein’s hair! I think it came out nicely.

016

Despite the immense amount of time and effort put into these, I forgot about them until I glanced through my photos. SHAME ON ME!
These are sugar skulls, and I used CutePolish’s simple tutorial to achieve the look. The most time consuming part was putting the various colors around the eyes. I’m especially proud of the teeth, which were very easy to do!

068

My final festive look is a cemetery design, which I did using this CutePolish tutorial, and put the design on each hand. I decided to accent the ring finger with a nice full moon. I adore the dusk gradient (she recommended one purple with pink but I used two for a more drastic and blended look) and the little crosses.

There were so many more designs I wanted to do…who knows, I might still pull them out and make them appropriate, whatever I’m doing.
I had a lot of fun doing all of these…one of the best parts about nail art is celebrating holidays, special occasions, fandom, etc. on your nails!

Top Ten Favorite Nail Polishes

thelineup

A while ago, I compiled a list of my top ten favorite nail polishes.
This was an extremely difficult thing to do because I have over 100 polishes in a variety of colors and finishes. How do I narrow it down?
The funny thing is, even though I have so many polishes, I tend to go to the same several colors over and over. Some are reserved for special occasions. Some are trend polishes that maybe don’t really flow with my style anymore. So after some careful consideration and thought, I came up with the polishes you see above, all of which should be easy to find if you so desire.
There is no ranking for these, just random order.

couple1

On the left: Deborah Lippmann’s Hapless Hunter Green (Hannah) from the GIRLS collection.
Considering that I love the show GIRLS and I love nail polish, this set was a must-have. The price was wince-worthy, but I’m glad I got it because the colors, this one in particular, are gorgeous. Before I got this polish, I was often covering my nails with designs and glitter…anything to avoid a flawed look. But this polish applies smooth and is such an interesting shade of green that it’s PERFECTION on it’s own.
It finally gave me the confidence to do simple one-polish manis.
On the right: China Glaze’s Fairy Dust is a must-have for polish (and glitter) enthusiasts. I couldn’t wait to get it myself. I haven’t tried it for this purpose yet, but I hear it’s perfect for galaxy nails. It is a super fine, non-gritty holographic glitter that can be layered for an intense look but one coat is enough to add some flair to absolutely any color you own.

couple2

On the Left: Essie’s In the Cab-Ana…I got to be honest, I don’t actually “own” this one. My sister has it and I borrow it A LOT. I want to get my own bottle, but I just can’t get myself to do it. I’ll regret it if I don’t soon. While it’s easy to find on Amazon, it is from the resort collection this year, so it’s Limited Edition. It is a beautiful, tropical, almost juicy looking blue that goes on beautiful in one coat and looks amazing with a variety of colors, glitters, or on its own.
On the Right: Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear in Black Out is CLASSIC. If you want an excellent black polish, pick this up. Don’t bother with expensive brands. For no more than 3 dollars, you can own the best. It’s shiny, it lasts, it covers in one coat, and it’s excellent for nail art.

couple3

On the Left: As I’ve mentioned on the blog before, I am a Julep Maven. When I first started the program, I got a code for 50% off any polish and it was hard to choose. Since I can only look online, I did a lot of swatch research and settled on Julia. This metallic polish is sometimes purple, sometimes gold, and always beautiful. I couldn’t have picked a better polish to start with. Once again, it’s excellent to have a a great color that works for one-polish manicures. This one is so interesting without any extra art or glitter coverage.
On the Right:  Essie’s Good as Gold is a part of their Mirror Metallics collection. Out of the several colors they offered, I chose this classic gold and it is beautiful. The finish is outstanding and top coat only adds more oomph! Most metallic shades tend to go on streaky, showing visible brushstrokes. But this polish goes on smooth and it also works great for nail art! I’ve done stripes and polka dots with ease.

couple4

On the Left: Nail polish connoisseurs will know that glitters don’t just come in chunky multi-colored blends. Black and White glitter was something I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. If you follow Chalkboard Nails (if you don’t, you should), you might have seen her massive collection and comparison post. Who woulda thunk that black and white could be so versatile? Most of the glitters she has shown are indie brands, but mainstream has been allowing various glitters (matte, bar, hex) to trickle into their formulas. I had no idea Maybelline was releasing a Polka Dots collection, which has a few polishes with color bases, but as soon as I saw Clearly Spotted, I snatched it up. At less than 4 dollars, how could I say no? The first time I used it, I nearly cried. Glitters can be tricky but this polish has excellent glitter coverage and plenty of each color in various sizes.
On the Right: Black and white nail polishes are, without a doubt, nail art staples. Without them, you’re limited with what you can achieve. But I didn’t realize how important nude polish was until recently. OPI’s Don’t Pretzel My Buttons is the perfect beige-y nude. It applies smoothly and is perfectly opaque. It’s beautiful on it’s own, but it provides an excellent base for neon nail art to pop.

couple5

On the Left: Pink is one of the colors I don’t own many of. I purchased Spring Break, a Nicole by OPI polish from the Selena Gomez collection, after seeing the movie Spring Breakers. I was all excited, and the hue really went with the bright colors in the film, so I snatched it up, knowing there was a hot pink gap in my collection. Though I knew I’d use it occasionally (and actually had an idea for it right from the start), I didn’t expect it to become a go-to polish like it has. You can’t see it in the picture, but the bottle has a visible line showing how much I’ve used. This is a feat since I hop from polish to polish, but that’s why it’s a favorite. Excellent pigmentation, great coverage, and easy to work with in terms of nail art. I actually have it on right now!
On the Right: I didn’t want to do a Top Ten without including an indie brand nail polish. Happy Hands Nail Polish is the first indie brand I’ve purchased from, and I will continue to go back. The formulas are excellent and the color combinations are gorgeous. Most of the collections are inspired by your favorite TV shows, movies, and music. However, Afternoon Thunderstorms is inspired by the weather in the Florida. This polish is a best seller on the site, and for good reason. It is honestly a thunderstorm in a bottle. The gray base and black glitter would’ve been enough to showcase stormy weather, but the gold shimmer adds that post-storm silver lining look of the hopeful sunshine!
This is an excellent and super beautiful polish.

And there you have it!
Since my polish collection is always growing, the list will certainly change at some point.
Do you have any favorites? What polish(es) is your go-to?
