I’ve fallen pretty hard for a new girl crush recently.

 

I’ve been watching 30 Rock lately (I know, I’m late in the game, for all of this actually) and she is just so funny and unafraid of poking fun at herself. And, of course, to top it off, she’s a hottie. Let’s face it. Anyone can admit that the Megan Foxes of the world are hot, but when it comes down to it, it’s about the whole package of smart and sexy.

Bare Legs

Our little heat wave will be ending soon, but I’m enjoying every moment. Even though I don’t get home ‘til 5, the weather is still nice enough to wear dresses and shorts and stay completely comfortable. I’ll miss it when it goes away, but I know it will only come back again…

I am in awe of my Canon sometimes. The second photo was taken by using the optical zoom and I just feel like the quality is so clear. I am obsessed with the picture…I could see it in some kind of nature magazine. Regardless, I’m happy to have it in my collection.

On Fire

Caleb Followill’s hotness is painful for me. His voice couldn’t be any sexier, no matter what he sings about. Plus, he has amazing style and looks so good in tight jeans.

I love Kings of Leon. I love every album. I’m happy for them, that they are finally achieving success in America. However, I don’t think most of the fans realize they have more than two songs. We listen to the radio at work and I pretty much hate “Use Somebody” at this point. But that won’t keep me from being a fan. I saw them live November 2008 and it was honestly the greatest show I’ve been to, and in the Electric Factory in Philadelphia so it was up close and personal. Oh yeah…and they are freaking hot.

Because I am obsessed with this, wishing I could dance and be as hot as she is, I am on American Apparel drooling over leotards. I don’t even know if anyone actually considers these sexy (though the one I own is pretty hot if I say so myself), but because of Shakira, I kinda wanna buy as many as possible.

 

It may also be because I really wish I were a dancer…

Work It

I know my blog has become a mess of YouTube videos, but its honestly where you will find me these days.

Shakira doesn’t, in my opinion, make the best music. Maybe her lyrics just don’t translate well. But I have always been in awe of her moves.

Her new song, She Wolf, maybe be cheesy, but I kinda like it. And her moves are insane.

Thoughts for Today

Eating a popsicle, thinkin’ back on my day.

Worked ‘til 5, and it flew. I love busy days that don’t give me time to think about anything. Found a possible job that I should really apply for. Realized I am on a total rap kick and cannot get enough of it, want more of it. Spent time with two boys that I’m glad I can call my friends. Dropped off my Holga film and you might be able to see my pictures as soon as the middle of next week.

Small things make up for the things I’m lacking. I don’t really have money, a job that I can live off of, a place to call my own, or a love to share everything with. But I have good friends, a job I like, and, as I told my mom, I feel pretty rich just driving the Buick on a warm summer night with the windows down blastin’ Lil' Wayne.

P.S. How did July get here so fast?

A while ago, I posted some photos from the Rolling Stone issue featuring the ladies of Gossip Girl on the cover. I still love those pictures. But I recently stumbled onto a few more photos totally post-worthy from the shoot.

I’ve only watched the first season, but I loved every ooey gooey cheesy moment it had to offer. I was a fan of the books, so some of it upsets me (in order to make it a watchable show, a lot had to be changed). But I will be watching the second season, whenever they release it on DVD! 

And how can you not, with a cast this hot (specifically Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick)?!
