More Action Sampler stuff…

I finally (this seems to be the general theme with my rolls of film) got a roll of Action Sampler film developed. I was surprised that some of the pictures I thought I took didn’t come out…that’s the thing with these plastic cameras. But man, do I ever love them. (And I love reliving the summer/warmer months, too.)

P.S. Bare with me as I play around with the blog. I’ve been wanting to make it something a little different for a while, but I don’t have much know how. Regardless, since the site is mostly about pictures, I didn’t want such a small template anymore. I know some things from the past are going to look wacky…but what can you do?

Fisheye

Oh man, I’m going to miss summer. But, the chilly weather has actually brought a strange hopefulness with it. As much as I’m not excited for jacket weather, chattering teeth, and making an effort to put on my shoes, it’s time for change. And I feel like it might be for the better…

Redscale Fisheye

I’m pretty pleased with my first round of Redscale film. Unfortunately, quite a few didn’t come out (I know for a fact I took two with the cap on accidentally, and I guess I didn’t get enough light with the bulb mode at night). The photos look even better in print, but obviously I can’t show them to you like that. Here are some of my favorite prints. Enjoy!

Redscale

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a wee bit obsessed with cameras, specifically of the film variety. Don’t get me wrong…I’d really love a great DSLR one day, but for now, I’m really content on stock piling plenty of plastic cameras.

lomofilm

For my birthday, my parents gave me some money to stock up on both 120 and 35 mm film. I finally made a plunge and purchased the Lomo brand, and I’m hoping the quality is great. About a month ago, my friend Lauren brought my attention to the Lomo Redscale film when she bought herself a Fisheye 2. Since I had the money, I thought I should try a box. I’m really curious to see how it works out. I’m supposed to receive the package tomorrow already. 4 new packs of film. Lots of possibilities. Can’t wait to share with you all soon!
