I don’t know why…

marshall …I just do.

My taste in boys hasn’t really changed much over the years. I’ve always had a thing for the nerdy underdogs. Simon happened to be my favorite Chipmunk, after all. And I appreciate people who are funny and creative in some way. Having a sense of humor and a personality are the most important things to me in a guy. Don’t get my wrong, I can drool over a muscle-y bod and perfectly chiseled cheekbones. But that won’t keep me. I need someone I can talk to and laugh with. Being a friend is first and foremost.

Jason Segel has been a celebrity crush since I first watched Freaks and Geeks. Then, I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall, to the point where I pretty much watched it every night before bed (not only does he star in the movie and do a nude scene, he actually wrote the movie, and it’s a great story, not just a good comedy). I’ll watch anything he does, which might be why I am currently Netflixin’ How I Met Your Mother. I can’t lie. I do enjoy a fluffy sitcoms. And it hurts how cute he is on the show. I just admire that he is funny and talented. I read an article in Rolling Stone about him, and he’s apparently and huge partier and kind of a man whore. But whatever. I still love the characters he plays and the work he does.

I have a crush on every boy.

Why can’t dreams come true?

Oooh boy(s). I could go on.

P.S. Check this out. I’ve loved it since high school and I still find it funny. It’s where I got my title from. Watch them all.

I love…

- Taking my multivitamin daily
- Mashed Potatoes
- Falling in love with new songs
- Having activities to look forward to
- Ron Weasley/Rupert Grint
- Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire

Dev Patel couldn’t be cuter. Plus, I’ve always been into tall, lanky, dark-haired boys. This interview is adorable, as is every other one I YouTubed in the last 24 hours.

Happy Weekend!

On Wednesday, I attended my last class at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA ever. I still have a final to take on Monday and a project to finish up hopefully by then as well (though its due on May 8th) but I don't have to sit in a classroom listening to lectures or gathering anymore assignments for 50-75 minutes anymore.

Completely avoiding the nostalgia and bit of sadness I feel realizing this, I haven't had a strict schedule to follow since Wednesday. I have two full weeks of freedom. That means lots of time to hang out with friends, relax, and be rediculous at all hours of the day. Yesterday I woke up late (after an incredible night at a friend's apartment, where we stayed until 4 AM drinking, talking, and of course, laughing...hopefully I'll have a few pics to share soon)and the only thing I made a point to do was see Crank High Voltage.

Speaking of which, Jason Statham...you are quite a man and, in fact, the man. I have had plenty of celebrity crushes (Ranging from Seth Rogen to Zac Efron) and Jason Statham makes all of them seem like little wussies. I mean, after you look at someone like that...how can you settle for less?

I can't begin to explain that he's not really the type I tend to fall for...I used to love tall skinny brown-haired boys. I've noticed though, that my type is changing all the time. In the end, liking someone or finding them attractive...it's probably best to stay away from typecasting. Take the man in for whoever he is.

And in Jason Statham's case...its pure sex and masculinity...I think anyway...teehee.

Anyway, I am a lady who doesn't typically go for the explosion-filled, gun-slinging crap in every action film. But the Crank movies are worth checking out, and not just for his hotness. They're strange, out of control, and are solely based on adrenaline and electric charge that's all about running around and doing insanely strange and often hysterical things to stay alive. If you want a good action flick without all the computer talk and bullshit, go see these. I promise you won't regret it.

Taste of Summer

Day 1 of the expected 4 days of 80-degree weather.
I have red shoulders.
I slept in late, which is delectable and immediately washed up, threw on a sundress, and sat in the sunshine reading a book.
Quick lunch outside before I had to shower and get ready for work.
I'm pretty sure the burn came when I was eating. I felt the sun on my back but I didn't think I'd be that sensitive. I think I got London skin when I lived there for two months.
Work went by quick, which is good. But it's 11 PM on a Saturday night. I'm less than a month away from being 22 years old. I'm in college. And I'm BLOGGING.
There's something wrong with this picture.

I'm probably just going to curl up with a movie. Or maybe my book.
And speaking of books, have you read the Jessica Darling books by Megan McCafferty? (Top 5 on the list)
If you haven't...do. They are written in a journal style and even though the books start off with a teenager girl struggling through high school, they end with a woman graduated from college and that part of her life. It's insanely good. You'll find it in the Fiction section of your bookstore. These ain't no YA novels. And, interesting fact about Megan McCafferty, if you email her, she'll respond.
I know because I was a lucky email recipient years and years ago.

Also, waking up today was hard because I dreamt that I this guy below wanted to date me.

If only...
